The sedans are G D-segment cars produced since 1991 by Infiniti. To date, four generations have been launched. The first two generations were based on the Nissan Primera the following on the Nissan Skyline.
While the first two generations were confined to the North American market, where the premium was not sold by Nissan, the next generation based on the Skyline were sold in Asia before arriving in Europe.
A coupe version appeared with the third generation of the sedan. A coupe-cabriolet version will arrive in 2009 and is based on the fourth generation sedan G.

Including those of Volvo, the Swedish subsidiary, the group wishes to sell, Ford sold 134,401 vehicles last month (-31.6%).
Good news however: Ford has acknowledged that he had regained market share in April for the sixth time in seven months. The manufacturer estimates its market share in the United States around 13.5%.
Looking at the results per category of vehicles that include sedans saw their sales fall by 28.8% yoy to 52,463 units. Heavy vehicles like 4 × 4 and pick-ups have registered for their share decreased from 33% to 77,435 units.
