Honda Fit Parts

September 1st, 2009 admin No comments

The second generation Honda Fit was launched in October 2007 in Japan at the Tokyo Motor Show. Like its predecessor, it was instantly able to convince the customer Nippon. In 2008, the Fit was the third car and the most widely distributed in Japan, with 175 000 sales, and the first outside group keijidosha.

Called Jazz in Europe (where it was launched a year later), the Fit retains its original name in the U.S. market.

Its predecessor, the second generation Fit retains its interior including a folding rear seats, which seat can rise (as theater seats …) to be able to install bulky height. The line, similar to that of its predecessor, is now almost minivan.

In Japan, the Fit is available in manual or automatic CVT drive. In the United States, the CVT gives way to a conventional automatic converter, while in Europe, the alternative to ordinary manual on Jazz is a robotized manual single clutch. Furthermore, only the Japanese market right versions to four wheel drive.

Subaru Legacy (New York 2009)

Concept presented to Legacy Salon Detroit (our article Concept Legacy) was not a joke.

The new Legacy unveiled at the Salon in New York it is identical in every respect, except the design of the rims, color and appearance of technoïde inside.

We notice that Subaru has chosen to go even a little more into line. Certainly, we can not say that the Legacy sedan was the most original of the contract. However, with its taut lines and dimensions very reasonable, she was one of the few roads to resist the trend of ever bigger, ever heavier, ever more sanitized.

Unfortunately, the market is strongest, and the mark could not resist the law in relation to the current, self therefore lengthens by 4.5 cm in length (4.73 m) but especially 9 cm in width (1.82 m) and 8 cm in height (1.50 m). The wheelbase has increased by 8 cm which should promote habitability.

In terms of style, the trend is discreet but significant: the wings extended, enlarged headlamps are seeking to strengthen the personality of the car. An evolution probably need to seduce, but some miss the elegance of the current version.

The platform is entirely new as well as trains. At the front is a classic pattern that McPherson was selected while in the rear, a new double wishbone train made its appearance.

In terms of engines, the evolution is much more timid: new Boxer gasoline are not yet there. In the U.S. market the 2.5 170 hp and 265 and the flat 6-cylinder 256 hp 3.6 will be renewed. Of course, the Legacy is still faithful to the drive for all models of its range.
In Europe, there is no doubt that the Boxer Diesel 150 hp will be offered from the start. Transmissions are logically identical to the previous model. One should note the emergence of a new box CVT chain which will offer 6-speed manual preset.

It is most likely in September, at the next Frankfurt Motor Show that we can discover the characteristics of European models.
